This nerve center proactively monitors locations across the city using advanced technology to provide critical intelligence to first responders in real time. This real time information helps to improve overall citizen safety, crime prevention, and highway safety in the City of New Orleans.
Next Generation 911 Interoperability Taskforce
Interoperability and continuity are essential capabilities of 9-1-1 and the overall emergency communications landscape. This requires compatibility between products, services, systems and networks to ensure interoperability between NG9-1-1 and other communications systems. During this webinar you will hear an update on the progress being made by the Next Generation 911 Interoperability Taskforce (ITF) and the important aspects of this initiative for standards-based NG9-1-1 interoperability testing and certification.
