Interpretation

While NG911 is not specifically mentioned, NG911 activities may be eligible for PSGP funds as the program prioritizes spending on efforts to respond quickly to catastrophic incidents. Qualified interoperable equipment that can be used for NG911 efforts include specialized communications devices for point-to-point communications. Investments on GIS systems are also eligible, which would support emergency communications activities under NG911. Funds for cybersecurity developments may also overlap with NG911 projects.
